Leaty and Sponsors Team Up for the Budweiser 100 at Lancaster June 16

Williamson, NY - Veteran NASCAR modified driver Jan Leaty and the rest of the Schum-Branich Motorsports team will partner with Papa Joe's Restaurant, Sodus Point, NY, for the Budweiser 100, to be held on June 16, 2001, at Lancaster (NY) Motorsports Park. Leaty's 2000 Troyer modified will carry the Papa Joe's logo for the event, as part of the one race sponsorship deal made with the local eatery. The original sponsorship deal was for the Empire State Modified Championship, but when that event was rained out and not rescheduled, the management of Papa Joe's decided to extend their commitment to the Lancaster special event. The race is expected to draw top regional modified drivers.

Papa Joe's Restaurant is locally owned and operated by Don and Jude Buchwald. Located in Sodus Point, NY, on picturesque Sodus Bay, NY. Papa Joe's is open seven days a week all year round, and boasts spirits and a complete luncheon and dinner menu, with meals served in the dining room as well as on the outdoor deck.
