Leaty and NASCAR Mod at Regional Trade Shows
Williamson, NY - Veteran NASCAR modified driver, Jan Leaty, of Williamson, NY, and the rest of the newly formed Schum-Branich Motorsports team have been busy over the winter preparing for the 2001 NASCAR Featherlite Series modified racing season. Leaty and the team will now take to the road over the next several weeks for appearances at the Rochester Auto Dealers car show in Rochester, NY, and at the Motorsports 2001 Exposition and Trade Show, in Syracuse, NY.

The team will first promote its sponsors at the 16th Annual Rochester International Auto Show, to be held at the Riverside Convention Center February 28 through March 4. The show will feature the latest offerings from all the manufacturers, as well as features on automotive history. Showgoers will also be able to meet and talk with Leaty and see his sparkling new #6 red and white NASCAR modified. Autograph sessions are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3.

The following weekend, the team will travel to Syracuse, to participate in the Carquest Motorsports Expo 2001. The annual event is reportedly the largest motorsports related exposition in New York State. The 16th edition of the show will run from Friday, March 9 to Sunday, March 11. It will take place in the Agway Exhibition Hall on the New York State Fairgrounds. The Motorsports Expo represents a major marketing opportunity for the team, as the event is expected to draw several thousand race fans. Leaty will be available for autographs on Saturday, March 10th.
