Kaempffe Scores First Career Win
Williamson, NY - Erich Kaempffe, competing in the Junior II karting class in the fall racing series at Paradise Speedway (Geneva, NY) notched his first ever career victory on October 3, 2003. Erich had a perfect night, collecting wins in both his heat race and in the feature event on the ¼ mile clay oval. After starting on the pole for the 10 lap feature event, he briefly lost the lead going into the first turn after the green flag flew, but passed the #8 of Cory Grenzy to regain the lead exiting turn two. After that, he was never seriously challenged as he drove to the checkered flag.

Erich is competing as a rookie, and is half way through the fall series. In addition to his feature win, he has also piloted his Buller Demon kart to two runner-up finishes in the four races run in the series so far.

His karting effort is bolstered by sponsor support from E&V Energy (Wolcott, NY), Michael Boone Signs (Sodus, NY), Gotcha Covered of SE Pennsylvania (Ambler, PA), and Jack "Jackman" Wasson (North Rose, NY). The fall karting series resumes October 11th at Paradise.
